Happy Blogiversary (yeah, it's a word)
Year 1 --> complete!
The internet is plagued with bad news and negative messages; I began this site 1 year ago because I wanted to create something different. The intentions of this site have always remained the same: to inspire others to be courageous, creative, and good. While many of my posts dive into the raw reality of life, I always try to leave people with hope.
No matter when joined me on this journey, THANK YOU! I would probably keep writing even if nobody listened, but it is nice to see there are others who can relate to my experiences. As a fun treat, here is a breakdown of where WE have been:
- Total Number of Posts: 73
- Total Number of Unique Visits: 2,718
- Total Number of Subscribers: 213
- Total Number of Countries Engaged: 47
- Top Device Used to Access: Mobile
- Most Read Post: Misconceptions We Have About Denominations
- Most Popular Post: Big News and Palm Trees
- Most Engaging Post: Why Failure Is A Good Thing
- My Favorite Post To Write: God's Mistake
There is no doubt this project has been on a steady incline. Like the beginning of a rollercoaster, our visits and engagement have crept upward. This is exciting and daunting all at once. It is always encouraging to see that you are doing something people enjoy, but scary to imagine how you will continue creating content for a growing audience. I mean, look at this:
However, continuing with the rollercoaster theme, there have been many stomach dropping falls, gut-wrenching turns, and head-spinning twists along the way. A monthly breakdown shows a more honest depiction of engagement.
It has been bumpy, but I kinda like that. It makes it more real, doesn't it?
In our first year we have also:
- Began our Facebook Page
- Created the Community Collaboration
- Updated our Landing Page
- and, Setup a Newsletter
That's a lot happening and we are not slowing down. In fact, I am currently working on another big project that will hopefully be released by the end of 2018. Hint: Jesus Stories that are accessible, relatable, and shareable. Stay tuned.....
This trip down memory lane has been fun, but it's time to keep trucking forward. I firmly believe that inspired people change the world. If I have been that for you, great! If not, I'm okay with that, too. If you're just my family trying to support me, awesome! If you're a stranger in one of the 46 different countries than my own, I'm glad you are here!
Regardless of who you are, where you live, why you are here, what you have been through, or how you look: let's change this world together.
